Phil Ispat Pvt Ltd is planning to expand its steel unit in Dighora village in Takhatpur tehsil in Bilaspur district of Chhattisgarh.
The project involves expanding sponge iron production capacity from 60,000 tpa to 175,500 tpa, induction furnace unit and a matching rolling mill unit of 153,000 tpa, a waste heat recovery plant of 12 MW, fuel fired boiler with captive power plant of 6 MW.
The project cost is estimated at ₹ 1840 million.
