Shree Rupanadham Steel to expand its steel unit at Saraipalli in Ghargodha in Raigarh district of Chhattisgarh with an investment of Rs. 1620 million.
The new unit will come up on its existing premises of 27.52 acres. The project involves setting up of manufacturing facilities for sponge iron (90,000 tpa), mild steel billets (1,23,500 tpa), TMT Bars (94,800 tpa).
The project also involves setting up of a 18 MW power generation unit. It will consume annually Coal (1,61,000 TPA), Iron ore (1,44,000 TPA) and Dolomite (4,500 TPA) as raw materials.
