N R Ispat & Power is planning to expand its steel plant in Gourmuri near Tamnar in Raigarh district of Chhattisgarh. The project involves setting up of DRI kilns of capacity 2 x 350 tpa, induction furnace units of 3 x 15 T, 2 x 20T, 2 x 8T, captive power plant of 20 MW (2 x 10 MW – waste heat recovery) and 1 x 16 MW. Land required for the project is already available. The project cost is estimated at Rs. 3200 million.
